AC Travel, Leisure Pass Group, Travel Counsellors and Audley Travel all made this year’s Sunday Times’ Profit Track 100 league table.

Airline Services, which maintains planes at 11 British airports, takes 9th position from 78th last year.

Jac Travel, which supplies travel companies with hotel rooms and sells packages and corporate travel, takes the 15th spot. It recorded a 93% rise in profits to almost £6.5 million in 2011.

Travel Counsellors, which was founded in 1994 and sells tailor-made holidays, is 80th in the table.

Tour operator Audley Travel is 90th, down from 26th position last year.

Complied by research and networking-events company Fast Track and published as a supplement in The Sunday Times each April, the table ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing profits.

Only UK-registered, independent companies can feature in the profit league table. They need to show profit growth over three years, exceeding profits of £3 million in the latest available accounts.
