Brand new Boeing 383 Dreamliner touches down for the first time in the UK

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner touched down in the UK for the first time today, as part of the so-called ‘green’ aircraft’s world tour.
The aircraft, which is constructed of carbon-fiber composite material, instead of aluminium, features LED lighting, bigger windows, wider aisles and higher ceilings.
Airline bosses gathered at Heathrow Airport to welcome the ultra-modern plane, which boasts revolutionary jetlag-busting technology.
The jetlag reduction means flights on the Dreamliner will be smoother and quieter.
Boeing says the jet can burn 20 per cent less fuel, saving more than 30 per cent on maintenance costs than existing aluminium aircrafts.
Thomson Airways, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic will be the first airlines to use the new planes from next year.
